BABB's Annual Strong Ale Night. Join us for this once-a-year, high-octane tour of some of the worlds finest strong beers that will be sure to warm the coldest soul on a chilly winter's night. Venue to be announced.

Mash Paddle Mini Comp:
In January, we learnt the finer details of the Mash Paddle style. This is our chance to demonstrate what we've learned.

Grand  Central will be hosting an event specifically designed to help ladies learn about and appreciate beer!
10 beer samples with paired food and its only $40.
Its being held by Matt Kirkegaard of Beer & Brewer magazine fame.
I will be taking a fellow femme brewer who will soon be a BABBs babe if I have anything to do with it!
Twould be nice to see some brewers wives/ girls along too, the more the merrier, and gigglier.

Foreign Beers Night:
We present a selection of the highest quality domestic and imported brews. One of the best nights of the year; not to be missed!

Mini Comp No. 5:
Belgian Ale. At time of entry, beer must be nominated into BABB's beer classes;

• 8a (Belgian Wit)
• 8b (Belgian Blonde)
• 8c (Belgian Dubbel)
• 8d (Belgian Tripel)

Mini Comp No. 6:
Lager / Pilsner At time of entry, beer must be nominated into BABB's beer classes;

• 2a (Australian Lager)
• 2b (German Pilsner)
• 2c (Bohemian Pilsner)
• 2d (Oktoberfest/Marzen)

The club is brewing a ~500L batch of all munich malt, unhopped wort.  Following the boil this will be cubed and sold to members.  The idea is to process it to beer in any way without adding any more malt.  Results will be compared at the January meeting.

A bus will pick up at Holland Park Bus Station (under the busway overpass) departing there at 0830 and a second pick up at Craftbrewer.com at Underwood departing at 0900.  Expected arrival time at Eagle Heights is 1000 with a departure back to brisbane at 1600.

Christmas Breakup:
A party night leading into the festive season including the annual Home v Commercial blind beer tasting, declaration of the Most Consistent Brewer and finishing the last of the year's brews.
